I just
wanted to tell you how I feel today.
Our hands touched, our lips met
it was only but a moment, probably just a dream,
but I'd never been before you arrived,
so much alive, so filled with inspiration.
|
And as
you took my breath away
I don't recall that living could be so giving
as to allow a moment so priceless,
no famous poet could enhance by licence.
And to the depths of the ocean to the green of the trees
no heart beats faster when the warm of your smile,
reaches out to me.
|
Such
presence and beauty could still the wind, calm any sea
and it strikes like a thunderbolt
with such power
and such honesty
only the strong could not fail to drop on bended knee.
|
If I
lived a thousand summers and wrote a thousand songs
I could never describe the feeling of the moment,
you came along.
